What happens to my version of QALI if anything happens to the developer?

Your version of QALI will still work, and your data will be safe, but there will be no more updates. You have paid for your license of QALI, and it will always work as there is no renewal fee. When you first purchase QALI, you will receive email support for one year and receive updates. After that year, updates and email support will end unless you purchase an optional support pack. Support packs are currently £200 per year or £20 per month (+VAT).

What if I have more than 50 site workers?

QALI will work with up to 1000 site workers. However, when your business grows beyond 50, a complete HR system may be more appropriate. Mustard can develop a bespoke computer system that will match your requirements exactly. To discuss this further, please fill in the contact form.

What if my company grows and my new HR system includes similar qualification functionality?

QALI has a built-in export function. This function will export all your data into a CSV file that most systems can import. If you need your data in a specific format, please contact us to create the export for you. We are happy to do this for our customers, but we charge £95 +vat for this service.

Do all staff appear on the QALI mobile app?

The mobile app will list all staff held within the desktop application. However, you can hide staff from the mobile application. For example, the managing director may have a lot of qualifications but no longer works on site. You can still store these qualifications, but there is no site requirement for them.

Office staff will have qualifications that you need QALI to be store. These qualifications may not be construction orientated. Site staff do not need access to these details. 

You can hide a staff member by checking the “Hide from mobile app” box or in the settings screen, where all staff are listed. You can quickly hide selected staff members from the mobile app.

Can I store office staff details in QALI?

Yes, you can store the qualifications and details of office staff within QALI. Then it is up to you if they appear on the mobile app. 

Does QALI only work for construction companies?

No, QALI was designed to store the qualifications of staff members, no matter what industry. We have targeted the construction industry as there are so many qualifications for site staff. Most of these qualifications expire and need renewing. QALI makes it easy to monitor expiry dates enabling you to plan your training schedule.

Is there a demo version of QALI?

QALI requires site worker details and qualifications to be entered before it becomes useful. Because of this, a demo version is not available. However, we have a version of QALI that uses test data. Contact us for your personal demonstration.

Where does QALI hold its data?

QALI uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to store your data. The database holding your personnel data is based in the UK and has an automated daily backup. Images, such as staff photos and scanned qualifications, are also securely stored within AWS. 

We use AWS because it is reliable and can deal with varying levels of data requests.

Can we add our internal training qualifications to QALI?

Yes, you can add your own qualifications to QALI. Internal training courses, such as toolbox talks and first aid training, can be added as qualifications to QALI.

Why is QALI a desktop application?

Desktop applications are faster to develop and allow us to react quickly to customer issues and suggestions. For example, if you report a problem, we can fix the issue and release a new version within the same day. Also, we can quickly add new features. For example, PPE Tracking and Accident Reporting came into existence through requests from customers.

Can QALI look after my vehicle fleet?

No, but we are working on a product specifically for vehicle servicing, MOT and maintenance. We understand that this is a major headache, especially for construction companies. To be kept informed of our progress,  please fill in the contact form
